Footage from the long unringable ring of 3 hung in the tower of St Giles' Church in Horsted Keynes, Sussex. Last believed to have been rung just after the Second World war in 1947 the bells have remained silent ever since with only the very quiet hour bell and the calling bell (2nd) ringing over the village. The treble is unhung. Going up in the belfry was like going back in time. The old full circle ropes sat on the louver sill along with the old tenor wheel.
