In Part Two of our journey around Eighteen Mile Island we stay at one beautiful site on our second night, one not-so-great site on the third, and run some fun rapids! During several hours of paddling we were rewarded with beautiful scenery and weather (although the headwinds were still out in full force!). We finally join the Main Channel of the river and travel West back to the put in, completing our 80km trip around the island in four days.
This trip was absolutely worth the effort and I am so happy to check this off the list of adventures!
