At 41 I was given 5% success rate if I were to do #IUI and 15% success rate if I did #IVF
This is not counting in that at 41 if you are to get pregnant you are at 50% chance of miscarriage in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy and at 15% chance of miscarriage from 12-14 weeks of pregnancy, more or less.
Many women are afraid of any fertility treatments, myself included, because we don’t know how hormones might effect us on a daily basis, which I why I chose to try IUI first since it’s less invasive.
