Ford 9N Rebuild – Part 2
Hello!
In preparation for the machinist to spec it out, the motor and all
attachments are disassembled, with the exception of the camshaft.
Know that online videos demonstrating restoring/rebuilding of engines are plentiful. So please pull one up if that’s what you’re looking for as this won’t be a how-to—just “my” process.
Essentially, I’ll organize my parts, block underneath the transmission for support and safety, disconnect the front end from the engine, remove the oil pan, etc. so that the machinist can do his part. After hearing from him, I’ll formulate the next step(s).
