[1:44] Presoaking the yarn
[2:39] Dyeing the yarn
8 cups of water + ~3 T white vinegar
Turquoise, Blue, and Green in 1% stocks from Paradise Fibers Acid Dye collection
[6:52] Adding more acid
5 T white vinegar
Wait 20 min before flipping
[7:50] Flipping the yarn to dye the other side
Heat for 30 minutes, cool completely before washing
Note that the dyebath cleared completely!
[11:17] Washing the yarn
Bleeding didn't start until I added soap
Soak with synthrapol for 10 minutes
[15:38] Soak with Vinegar a Washing experiment
[18:45] Washing after steam setting
[19:55] The finished dry yarn
