S1 E26: Stranded in No Man’s Land: Thailand Border Drama & A Surprise Guest Rider

After 10,000 km riding two-up from Australia to Laos, disaster struck at the Thailand border. Customs refused to let our beloved Triumph Tiger, Tilly, into the country without a foreign vehicle permit—something we didn't need the first time. The result? A costly bureaucratic nightmare, two weeks stuck in limbo, and the heartbreak of leaving our bike behind in no man’s land.
We went stir-crazy in our hotel room, counting the days until we could finally reunite with her. When the paperwork cleared, we dashed to Lampang for a much-needed tire change—massive thanks to the amazing crew who got Tilly road-ready again.
And then… a major highlight: Maddi’s dad (a real-life Harrison Ford lookalike) flew in from Australia to ride with us through Northern Thailand! With his badass helmet, protective gear, and a rental bike, the adventure around the Mae Hong Son Loop is about to begin.
