I had the great privilege of reading an advance copy of Golden Child by Lauren Smallcomb, and I couldn't put it down. The story was so engaging that I read it in all my free time and finished in three days!

Lauren's story is a courageous one of making extremely painful choices to value herself and pursue health, authenticity, and wholeness.

In this video, I talk about some of the themes of estrangement, relationships ripped apart by fundamentalism, chronic illness as a result of abandoning our authenticity, and what it looks like to have healthy boundaries.

I highly recommend Golden Child, whether you relate to the themes or not. It is available now anywhere books are sold!
