Chasing little victories at Lee on the Solent Parkrun

I returned to my home parkrun today after visiting the Meon Valley parkrun last weekend.

The morning was quite overcast, with a strong wind affecting the outward and finish sections of the course. In these conditions, participants tended to either thrive or struggle. I ran hard but maintained control throughout the race. While my time wasn't as fast as last weekend's parkrun, I was only 3 seconds slower than my fastest time at Lee-on-the-Solent in 2025. I feel like I’m achieving some consistency with my times and will be focusing on building my endurance for the remaining races of 2025.

Here are my stats for Lee-on-the-Solent parkrun #476 (my 248th overall):
