Just before midnight, the clouds drifted away above Lake Savojärvi in Kurjenrahka National Park, revealing an unforgettable northern lights show. September got a spectacular send-off and October a powerful start, thanks to a G2 solar storm that painted half the sky with bright auroras – even here in Southern Finland.
The calm waters of Savojärvi mirrored the dancing lights, making the scene twice as magical. A perfect night of reflection, color, and cosmic power.
