A budget friendly bushcraft knife and some frustrations of hand drill friction fire.

In this video I discuss the Mora companion knife, and what I like about it. I also demonstrate hand drill friction fire in this video. It takes me four attempts to create an ember with a kit I’ve used before. there could be multiple reasons for this occurrence, operator error, environment, moisture, etc. however, you are able to see firsthand, uncut hand drill, and it’s various frustrations, e.g. over drilling breaking the hearth board, three unsuccessful attempts and finally a fourth successful attempt. my biggest message in this whole video is to say don’t give up.
