Machining up some endplates for my X-gantry in order to improve the torsional strength of the gantry, as well as allow me to fill the tube with some expanding rigid Polyurethane Foam.
I am super impressed with how well the machine handled my new three flute aluminum chip breaker end mill from carbidetoolsource.com
Really just a simple video of some more aluminum milling on the PrintNC. There are some portions where I speed the video up, but should be pretty obvious.
Keep an eye out for some follow up videos soon of the whole X-gantry upgrade process.
