This video brings out unique relationship of a philanthorpist Doctor [Dr. Ghulab Rai] who incidently belonged to the Hindu Community and became first disciple of Pir Choudhary Bute Khan Ghumman and remained his disciple throughout his life. Interesting part is that he did not convert his religion to which he was born into. Dr. Ghulab Rai is still respected and affectionately called Babu Ghulab Rai in the villages around Jamke-Cheema. Dr. Ghulab Rai's son Dr. Girdhari Lal studied medicine in Mumbai (than Bombay) before 1947, and was awarded gold medal by Bombay University. He practised with his father in Jamke-Cheema and later on practised at Gujranwala.
