De Sur a Norte, is a song I composed in August 2017 in Toronto.

At that time I was feeling lonely and I started seeing how hard it is to live abroad…this song it is a cueca, which is a traditional rhythm from my country, Chile.

The production of this song was possible thank to the Newcomers Mentorship Program by Toronto Arts Council. This grant allowed me to study music production with the amazing music producer & engineer Lisa Patterson.

This is the first song release I have ever done and I am definitely very excited about this experience…

De Sur a Norte, es una canción que compuse en agosto 2017 en Toronto.

En ese momento me sentía sola y comencé a ver lo difícil que es vivir en el extranjero… esta canción es una cueca, que es un ritmo tradicional de mi país, Chile.

La producción de esta canción fue posible gracias al Programa de Mentores para Recién Llegados del Consejo de las Artes de Toronto. Esta beca me permitió estudiar producción musical con la increíble productora e ingeniera musical Lisa Patterson.

Este es el primer lanzamiento de una canción que he hecho y definitivamente estoy muy contenta con esta experiencia...
