In this lecture, Prof. Witten derives the fundamental result of entanglement in QFT, the Reeh-Schlieder theorem, namely that any state can be approximated arbitrarily well by acting on the vacuum with operators localized in a region of spacetime, no matter how small. He discusses the interpretation of the theorem and some consequences.
