Power is a function of Strength + Speed. It is basically moving weight through space. Training this way translates into many things that we do on a daily basis like picking up a child and moving them or picking up a heavy suitcase and putting it on an overhead compartment. Most of the equipment used will be light since we are working them in a faster way than we would normally if we were strictly strength training. Some of the exercises, however, may be with heavier weights and I will let you know when we will need to load up a little more - some will be just bodyweight. As always, you have the option of going without equipment. It is a 40/20 interval format. That means you will work for 40 seconds and you will rest for 20 seconds, and during the rest, I will demo the next exercise. The music tempo is 135 BPM, which is pretty perfect for working a power format. I love to perform the exercises to the tempo of the music so we are moving at a constant and steady pace.
