In the compression-distraction technique, one site of the bone is lengthened and another site is immediately or gradually compressed. Added to this , here , Dr. Alok Agrawal compares this to his experience of seeing lakhs of patients in his medical career . Are our lives too is similar to compression & distraction? Prof. Dr. Alok Chandra Agrawal is the Dean (Academics)
of All India Institute Of Medical Sciences, (AlIMS) Raipur. He is also the Head Of Department, Department of Orthopedics.
He has several academic qualifications, including MBBS, M.S. (Ortho), DN.B. (Ortho), Ph.D. (Ortho),
FAMS, while also being a renowned Orthopedist in India. He previously worked at NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur before joining AlIMS Raipur in 2013. He has grown his department leaps and bounds over the years and took over the position of Dean (Academics) in 2022.
He is also President of Indian Stem Cell Study Group and has various academic publications to his credit. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
