Bangalore to Allahabad Sangamithra Express | Kasi Ayodhya Gaya Pilgrimage Video 1

This is the first video of the Kasi Ayodhya Gaya Pilgrimage. The video covers the two day train journey from Bangalore to Allahabad in Sangamithra Express.
Sangamithra Express runs between Bangalore and Patna.

Reason Behind the Name Sangamithra?
Patna was once called and Pataliputra, which was ruled by the King Asoka. Sangamithra was the name of the daughter of Emperor Asoka.

We boarded the train from Bangalore Cantonment Railway station. The train first goes to Chennai and then it travels through Gundur, Ongole, Vijayawada, Warangal, Nagpur, Itrasi, Jabalpur Allahabad and then to Patna. We will be getting down at Allahabad Chheoki Junction on the second day of the Trip.

In this video we cover the beautiful areas of Telangana, the hilly mountains of Madhyapradesh and the vast Paddy fields of UttarPradesh and Madhyapradesh.

We reached Nagpur Jn on the second day morning. Nagpur is famous for the Oranges. We can see a lot of Orange tress during the train journey in Maharashtra

While travelling through the hilly terrains of Madhyapradesh, the train passes through many tunnels which are a treat to eyes for a first time traveler. Both sides of the railway lines are planted with Teak woods, which reminded me of the Shoranur Nilambur Railway line.

We reached Allahabad Chheoki Railway Station at 2.00AM in the morning.
From here we are traveling to Chitrakoot, which is 4 hours journey from Allahabad.
