My Neck Instability Improved on Imaging! (After PRP Injections)

About one month ago, I had platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections in my neck below my fusion. This was in attempt to treat the lower cervical instability that was (fairly) severe before my craniocervical fusion surgery (skull-C2). I have had a significant improvement in neck pain and instability symptoms after the injections, and have cut my day time brace usage by about 50%.

This week I had a follow-up upright MRI with flexion and extension, and my neurosurgery appointment. My surgeon compared my new imaging to my imaging from about a year ago, and the instability is actually starting to look BETTER. We have to think this is from PRP, but there's no way to be sure.

Of course, we don't know if this is something that will be beneficial long term, but we are thankful for the positive results so far!
