Wavinya Ndeti delt a blow as Mavoko court dismisses her application to revoke bond for Felix Mambo

The Mavoko law court has dismissed Machakos governor Wavinya Ndeti's application to revoke bond for a resident identified as Felix Mambo saying the application lacks evidence and merit.
Wavinya, who is the complainant against Mambo on a defamation case, had made an application for the accused bond be cancelled ahead of the ruling set for 17th November 2025.
In her application dated 30th June 2025, the governor applied for the bond revocation on grounds that the accused continues defaming her through social media platforms.
Senior principal magistrate Berrick Kuto dismissed Wavinya’s application saying it has no merit further requiring her to liaise with investigating officers to present sufficient electronic evidence.
The governor moved to court over allegations that the accused had led a campaign on social media to malign her name through false accusations.
The accused was arrested and was charged with defamation at Mavoko law court on 4th November 2024 where he was released on a Ksh200,000 cash bail pending ruling of the case.
