CPKC WB grain train with an AC44CWM leader. Note the damaged horn on the top as well. (K3LA?) Yea..... When I said this was unexpected, I really meant it. I was attempting to shoot a crossing tour here when this snuck up behind me. And good thing I looked back too. Idk what fiasco is crazier now, The crossing signal Jumpscare on my Amtrak 108 catch or this? In all seriousness though, This is a good lesson on taking extra precaution anywhere where there's more than one track. as there's always the possibility of another train sneaking up behind you when your catching one. (or touring a crossing in my case)
Crossing Info: Signals are owned and maintained by CPKC. They were installed sometime in the early 2000s. The bell rings until the gates fully lower. And the signals have seen changes to its lights, bell and the gates. This crossing is a quiet zone. DOT number is: 390-513X
