I thought that I should share my progress in making a virtual studio with Unreal Engine and HTC Vive.
And in making this videos I thought that more people could get together and solve this. So if you're as passionate as me about this, hit me up on twitter and we can talk and share experiences.
The last couple of weeks I’ve been experimenting with Unreal Engine to create live action compositing on a green screen. And the first thing to accomplished that is getting the physical camera movements into Unreal. And that’s what we use the HTC Vive for.
So I mounted the HTC Vive Tracker on to my Ursa Mini Pro which then transfers the movement to Unreal.
This video only explains the camera tracking step but in the next couple of videos I will show you my whole setup for creating live action compositing with Unreal Engine.
