Also known as Cha siu bao, it can be steamed or baked. A Hawaii favorite that I grew up with as a child, sold by small mom & pop shops and what we call in Hawaii "the manapua truck" ! Before the times of gourmet food trucks, the original food truck could be found in Hawaii.
