This was my first painting session in weeks and, as always after a long break, I felt quite rusty when I picked up my brushes again.
I know that to shake off those cobwebs, I need to simply start painting… no plan, no expectations, just the brush gliding across the page and the colours dancing on the wet paper. I am not painting for a polished landscape here; I am painting for the process itself.
Let me show you how I create a landscape out of a chaotic, playful first wash – I will let the colours, the soft and hard edges, and the tonal values guide me along the way.
Let's have some fun with watercolour and invite joy into our creative process.
