The White House Historical Association hosted its 2023 Gala on November 2 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, beginning with remarks from First Lady Dr. Jill Biden. The evening’s program, guided by television personality Al Roker, included a performance by renowned mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves and a special conversation on "The White House in Television and Film" led by journalist Deborah Roberts with award-winning actors Michael Douglas and Martin Sheen.
The Gala is the premier fundraising event supporting the White House Historical Association, the non-profit, non-partisan organization founded by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy in 1961. The Association’s mission is to protect, preserve, and provide public access to the rich history of the Executive Mansion. Learn more at www.whitehousehistory.org.
