20 New Deep Sea Creature Encounters Caught on Camera in Hawaii 2025 | Mega ROV Countdown № 4

The latest ROV (remotely operated vehicle) expeditions conducted by NOAA in Hawaii's deep waters have yielded even more brand new encounters with fascinating marine life-- including a potential new species of jellyfish and an array of rarely seen creatures, such as predatory chitons, a dandelion siphonophore, and swimming isopods.

A huge thanks to NOAA for not only conducting the incredible work they do, but for sharing their ocean exploration with the public in real time via their ROV livestreams. NOAA's work is so deeply important to humanity's understanding and appreciation of marine life, and they are doing a great service to the public-- both in the US and around the world-- by making their findings so readily available.
