This is an interpretive drum cover of the song Blue Skies using Benny Goodman's version and Ella Fitzgerald's vocals dubbed over the top. This is setup as sort of a play along also since the drum beat is pretty repetitive and with the 4 on the floor it keeps its roots in the jazz era. This is my own mediocre attempt to make the song slightly more modern sounding.
You will hear a double on the hi hats where I use my left hand that helps keep it snazzy but it also helps to stay in the groove. It doesn't pick up on camera well but you hear it pretty regularly. The snare has a ghost note every time also to help keep you in the groove. Per usual standards all the audio and video were recorded simultaneously and there are no edits past just going from camera to camera.
