Prof Ed Galea, Director of the Fire Safety Engineering Group (FSEG) of the University of Greenwich was interviewed by BBC World News (broadcast on the BBC News Channel) concerning the fire and evacuation associated with the JAL A350 crash at Haneda Airport on the 2nd January. The interview was broadcast live at 23:00 GMT on the day of the accident and so there was little information apart from what was available on news broadcasts and video clips posted on the internet.
