Welcome back to the show built on a "tissue of lies"! Hosted by the incomparable David Mitchell, The Unbelievable Truth is the BBC Radio 4 panel game where comedians are tasked with smuggling facts past their peers while lecturing on various subjects.

In Season 3, the lies are more elaborate, the "truths" are even more ridiculous, and David Mitchell’s patience is thinner than ever. From the secret history of household objects to the bizarre behavior of historical figures, this series features some of the most iconic moments in the show's history.


The Subjects: Prepare to learn "the truth" about everything from Pirates and The Moon to Sausages and Superstitions.

📖 How To Play:
Each player must deliver a lecture that is almost entirely made up of lies. However, they must hide five unbelievable truths within their speech.

The Opponents: Must interrupt and "buzz in" when they think they’ve heard a truth.

Scoring: Points are awarded for spotting truths and lost for being caught in a lie. If a panellist successfully smuggles a truth past everyone, they get double points!
