This Video describes how to handle flash corruption problems reported on Cisco IOS Access Points (AP)
When the access point does not respond or continuously reboots, the cause can be a corrupted firmware image. Due to a number of software bugs in an AP in normal operation, the flash file system on some Cisco IOS APs can become corrupt over time. This is seen especially after an upgrade is performed to the WLC.
If the wireless device experiences a firmware failure or a corrupt firmware image, indicated by three red LED indicators, you must reload the image from a connected TFTP server.
This process resets all configuration settings to factory defaults, including passwords, WEP keys, the wireless device IP address, and SSIDs.
The AP fails to boot completely. This failure can happen if the firmware on the AP is corrupt.
To resolve this issue, reinstall the firmware on the AP.
