WAYWARD SONGS: DEMOS VOL. 1
Another song written from the title, I found this one in a meme of old sayings. It dates back to the Victorian era. The opening riff was recorded on a slightly out of tune piano, in a house in Silverlake where I was dogsitting, using my iPad. I think the off kilter sound helps sell the idea of the lyric. The creepy double vocals remind me of Trent Reznor.
