Two people in Portland were injured in a shooting involving federal agents on Jan. 8, said City Council President Elana Pirtle-Guiney.
"These individuals are still alive and we’re hoping for more positive updates," said Pirtle-Guiney at a City Council meeting on Thursday.
The details of the shooting remain unclear. Officials did not disclose the names of the injured people. FBI Portland officials said the shooting involved U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents.
