The ENTIRE Dragon Quest Swords Story Explained

This video is intended to encompass the full experience of the Dragon Quest Swords story.

Meaning i will be blending together the story and world building obtained from small segments of walking around town and hearing the inner dialogues and struggles of the townspeople, which is an important part of all dragon quest games. These inner isolated dialogues from the townspeople have their own separate storylines making them feel like true characters in the world. They fairly often connect to the story and foreshadow events way before the plot needs it to do so.

Many people skip over this and it lessens the experience

I believe including these will enrich the experience for you watching at home making this world feel more alive, after all… these games were designed with the expectation that you WILL explore these inner dialogues and search for clues, and we are rewarded for doing so with a richer story.

It wouldnt make any sense to make a dragon quest video and neglect the way the story was supposed to be digested.


I faced so many editing issues when making this video, it took over 20 hours and once it was finished it refused to export, i had to copy all files onto a new event in final cut pro but then each clip was 0.002 off frame. So between every single clip was 1 single frame of black screen, i had to go over 1000 clips to fix this issue, but it was all worth it. I created this channel with the plan to one day make dragon quest content.

I am so happy I was able to find my old Wii and buy a copy of dragon quest swords, I really enjoyed being able to talk about it with you guys and being able to create dragon quest videos makes me so excited, I will one day make so much more

Dragon Quest Swords is my favourite Dragon Quest Spinoff but close to Dragon Quest Builders 2. The series is my favourite ever and has so much I want to cover in the future
