Suan Luang Rama IX Park is one of the largest public parks in Bangkok. It was built in 1987 to celebrate the 60th birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, also known as King Rama IX. The park covers an area of around 500 acres and is located in the Prawet District of Bangkok.

Known for its spacious lawns, botanical gardens, lakes, and jogging paths. Popular with locals for morning walks, cycling, picnics, and sunset views, it offers a calm, green escape from the city and is especially beautiful during flower-blooming season.

Getting there – Suan Luang Rama IX Park

Take the MRT Yellow Line to Suan Luang Rama IX Station, then exit and take a short taxi or motorcycle taxi (5–10 minutes) to the park.
Alternatively, take the Airport Rail Link to Hua Mak Station, then a taxi or Grab (about 10–15 minutes).

Most visitors enter via Gate 1 (Chaloem Phra Kiat Road), the main and easiest access point.
