The 6th iteration of ACAW’s annual forum FIELD MEETING, premiered offsite in Dubai (Jan 25-26, 2019) with a dynamic string of performances, lecture-performances, and pop-up exhibitions by over 30 multidisciplinary artists and creative individuals. The two-day program explored “the act of collecting beyond the limitations of an art market lens to reclaim ‘collections’ as the living energy of people: their research, processes, and meaningful activities.” Hosted in collaboration with Alserkal Avenue — the MENASA region’s foremost cultural destination and arts organization. Curated by ACAW Director, Leeza Ahmady.
