On October 5, 2014, Dr. George O. Wood, the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God (one of the world's largest Pentecostal churches), preached both in the morning and the evening at Christ Gospel Church in Jeffersonville.
Dr. Wood described Christ Gospel Church as a spiritual oasis, and he said that the CGC community seeks the presence of the Lord. He said he greatly enjoyed his visits.
His sermon focuses on the Lord's Remembrance for when we serve him. Wood notes that often Christians feel discouraged at doing the Lord's work because they think that no one notices. However, the Lord notices, and He will never forget.
