Who Is Starboy? | Starboy EXPLAINED

The Weeknd’s music is very visual and deliberate, and Starboy has always stood out as special to me. It was about time I worked out exactly what the album was saying and pieced together the story of this troubled star. Vices and addiction continue to be a common theme, but he now feels the weight of real superstardom after his pop emergence. Can he find sanctity in his lustful life, or is he condemned to be damned in Hollywood like so many young stars, burning bright and extinguished early?
