Today in our village, we cooked something truly special — Butter Chicken! 🐔🧈🍅
We used fresh chicken, hand-ground tandoori masala, thick homemade yogurt, red chilli paste, turmeric, garlic and ginger paste. The chicken was marinated to perfection and slow-roasted in our traditional clay tandoor.
The rich tomato gravy was cooked in desi ghee, with cashews, milk cream, and a perfect blend of spices. Finally, we brought it all together — tandoor-roasted chicken simmered in buttery, creamy, spicy tomato gravy. Served with steamed basmati rice, this was an authentic butter chicken experience straight from our village!
To spread love and smiles, we shared this delicious meal with the residents of a Mental Health Trust Home. Their happiness made it all worth it. ❤️
