This video shows how to weave a fringe on a narrow warp-faced band. The heddle is made of bronze and is a replica of a Roman heddle found in Pilismarót, Hungary. The bronze reproduction heddle was made by Robin Goatey of thedancinggoats studio in the USA.
The fringe is sturdy using three strands of 16/2 linen. I love the way that the blue and yellow wefts twist on the selvedge side.
