This video contains three recent matches I had with the LV1 F90II Intercept Type on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 750 cost raid with excellent aerial mobility, a Flight Shield skill which further boosts mobility and reduces thrust consumption, good stagger accumulation, decent melee damage, a lance that can knock down enemies with normal swings alongside the ability to ram into enemies with the lance. It suffers from struggling to one combo bulkier supports, from having relatively low HP considering how risky its game plan is alongside having a long reload time for the machine gun. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is a beam shot lancer with 3200 (3800) power, 70% (85%) heat, 4 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 350m (400m) range, 2 seconds focus time and 20% (80%) stagger value. Uncharged and charged shots instant stagger. Charged shots ignore 30% of the enemies beam resistance and can pierce through enemies. Overheating this weapon will temporarily disable usage of your beam lance melee.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2800 power, 2 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 80% combo modifier 1 second focus time and 150%x2 heavy attack modifier. This has short reach, but it can do pretty good damage in two hit combos. The heavy attack focuses quickly, but has an awkward animation alongside relatively mediocre damage.
Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan gun with 100 power, 60 ammo, 600 RPM, 8 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 200m range, 1000 DPS and 7% stagger value. This has below average DPS, but it can stagger in just 1.5 seconds.
Its second sub weapon is a beam lance with 3300 power, 3 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, 60% combo modifier and 150% downswing modifier. The long cooldown makes it awkward to both start and finish combos with this weapon, but it has high power and can knock over enemies with regular swings. It benefits from LV2 Aerial Melee.
Its third sub weapon is a shield vulcan gun with 150x2 power, 60 ammo, 600 RPM, 13 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 350m range, 3000 DPS and 4%x2 stagger value. This has very high DPS and can stagger in 1.3 seconds, making it your best midrange damage tool.
The LV1 F90II has 23000 HP, 20 ballistic resist, 35 beam resist and 20 melee resist. It has high beam resistance, but because of type disadvantage, generals like the X1 and F91 will be able to easily one combo you if you make a mistake. It has a 30% damage reduction shield buffer, alongside LV2 Emergency Evasion, LV1 Offence System and LV4 Maneuver Armor for defensive skills.
In terms of mobility it has 135 (138 including ground affinity) walking speed, 230 boost speed, 80 thrust and 72 (78 including affinity) turning speed. It is really fast while using the Flight Shield skill, but suffers from having lower walking speed than other miniature suits at this cost. It has LV2 Flap Booster, LV4 Flight Control and LV3 Forced Injectors for mobility boosting skills.
It also has a skill called LV1 Flight Shield Attack. When holding the melee lance and boosting forward, you gain 15 extra boosting speed, -20% thrust consumption, -10% stagger accumulation taken alongside the ability to ram enemies with the lance. Hitting an enemy on the ground deals 2500 true damage and instant staggers, while hitting an airborne enemy will deal 5000 damage and knock them down at the same time. This works even against transformed suits.
In conclusion, I feel that while the F90II has a niche in this meta, it is still not that good. Being able to knock down ZZ Gundam with the lance is a really good trick to have, but since most of them are stacking melee resistance (often between 60-80) to counter the Crossbone X1, you probably won't be dealing much damage to them outside of the guaranteed 5000 from the lance charge. It is decent against the Vigna Ghina, but it isn't always so easy to catch up with them if they have already activated the Fin Nozzle Controller, since even with the Flight Shield skill, F90II only has 5 more boosting speed than a Vigna Ghina using the fin nozzle skill. That is if you can even get past the Crossbone X1, since if it shoots you down with its brand marker, you are probably gonna die in one combo. I think the Crossbone X2 is a much more reliable raid in this meta, since it can play relatively safely by just shooting from a distance and using melee more opportunistically. I really love the unique playstyle of the F90II I Type, so I want it to be buffed. I would like it to get 25000 HP, 8 seconds reload time for the machine gun, 2.5 seconds beam lance melee cooldown time alongside 3000 power for the beam saber. I wouldn't say that it is a throw pick or anything, it is just pretty difficult to use in this meta, so use it at your own risk. Thanks for watching!
