C-Sert thread repair inserts are hollow taps that cut their way in to create a permanent, interference-fit repair. Designed for speed and durability, each C-Sert installs in under 30 seconds using an impact wrench and comes with a custom hex-head installer for use with impact sockets. Backed by a lifetime warranty tied to your equipment, the process begins with a 29 lb German-made magnetic drill. For 16 mm cases, paste coolant is applied to the cutter before opening the pilot hole. In plastic injection molding setups, using a failsafe C pin during seat installation is recommended, and full tool packages are available to support the process.
