Enjoy this fun and easy watercolor painting tutorial of winter birds! In this video I will show you how to paint an American Goldfinch and a Tufted Titmouse.
Winter is a wonderful season for going out in nature to do some birdwatching. Spotting these wonderful tiny birds can bring so much joy and painting them is equally satisfying!
In these 2 paintings I have applied simple wet on wet techniques using salt and muted colours but I also used lemon yellow and orange for some bright accents on the birds' feathers.
Materials used for this tutorial:
Watercolor paints form White Nights and Winsor and Newton:
Lemon Yellow
Raw Sienna
Yellow Ochre
Mars Black
Cobalt Mist ( from the White Nights Granulation Set)
