This footage of a South Western Railway Class 455 was captured on 21 June 2024. By that time, the Class 701 was not yet ready for service, so the Class 455 remained the mainstay of London Waterloo – London Waterloo (via Wimbledon, Teddington and Richmond) suburban rail services, also known as the Kingston Loop.
The rest of the Class 455 fleet was withdrawn at the end of 2025.
