This video presents a tool to automate the verification and validation of the conformity of renewable EMT models to grid code requirements. The tool is called E-interconnect. It can meet the requirements of any grid code and support custom user-defined specifications. In power system operations, each grid code defines the operating requirements that connected inverter-based resources (IBRs) must meet. These requirements are translated into validation criteria that must be verified through different tests. E-interconnect tool is designed to automatically execute all tests prescribed by any grid code and draw conclusions from the test results.
