This is a popular Chinese finger food. Just like the name suggests, these are shaped exactly like the ancient Chinese tiny money bags. But instead of money we have some delicious filling inside. In this video, we are making a veg filling but you can try with any non veg filling like minced chicken, lamb etc. as well. They are very easy to prepare and tasty too. These money bags are crispy & crunchy on the outside with a simple & delicious filling & are best served with sweet chilli dipping sauce.

Ingredients :
For the wrappers :
All purpose flour 1 cup
Veg oil 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Warm water 1/4 cup

Filling :
Cabbage finely grated 3/4 - 1 cup
Carrots finely grated 3/4 cup
Finely chopped garlic 1/2 - 1 tsp
Spring onions chopped 2 tsp
(white part)
Green part to tie the money bags
Soya sauce 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar a pinch

Instant Dipping Sauce :
Tomato sauce 5 tbsp
White vinegar 1-2 tbsp
Red chilli flakes 1/4-1/2 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

Notes:
1.Roll out the dough as thin as possible.
2.Saute the veggies just for 1-2 mins.
3. Do not add too much filling.
4. You can use non - veg filling of your choice.
5. Fry them until golden in hot oil (takes only 2 - 3 minutes)
