I see authors limiting their searches to the title field only for systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis. This goes against everything evidence synthesis guidance recommends, and screams to me that the authors only wanted to "do less." Understand how your search is working and when it's appropriate to use title-only vs broader fields. The example given is in PubMed.
