in this video I respond to comments made during a recent livestream regarding copyright, debunking, and criticism within the paranormal community.
This is not a personal attack and it’s not about paranormal drama.
It’s a calm, factual response to several claims that were made publicly — particularly around copyright strikes, fair dealing, and whether critique automatically equals infringement.
Debunking, criticism, and commentary are not the same as theft.
Under UK fair dealing, creators are allowed to quote, show clips, and analyse content for the purpose of critique, review, and discussion, even when that criticism is uncomfortable.
I pause frequently, add context, and explain why certain claims about copyright simply aren’t accurate. This video is aimed at creators who may be confused or worried about speaking critically on YouTube.
