First Time Hearing Pisces Iscariot by The Smashing Pumpkins

I really wasn't expecting this level of quality when I first started this album. I thought that this was just going to be like traditional b side tracks, good, but nothing phenomenal. But this album was completely different. Everything that they have made is just straight up good quality. I don't even think I've heard a track from them that you would even consider "mid" thats how consistent they are. I mean, most of the tracks on here felt like they easily could have fit on Gish or Siamese Dream. The songs felt a bit more structured and I guess more straight to the point in a way? And man, the guitar on here was even better than Siamese Dream at some points in my opinion. It felt like they had less restraint in a way with how much shredding they were doing. And it was really cool to hear James Iha's vocals on Blew Away, I thought that he had a really soft and gentle voice that fit that song perfectly. You really also get a mix of everything in here as well. They change it up more than you think. Billy Corgan's vocals and lyrics were top notch as usual. Gonna be continuing with their discography, album by album!
