When squatting at any weight, it’s important to use the proper form so that you can build muscle faster and help prevent injuries. Master Trainer Leon Taylor breaks down each part of the process and what you should look out for when performing squats.
STEPS⬇️
1.) Make sure the bar is even
2.) Place hands on bar ridges
3.) Place bar on top of traps
4.) Get a firm grip and lock your wrists
5.) Pick up the bar and take a few steps out
6.) Place feet shoulder width apart with toes pointed slightly outward
7.) Go down until your thighs are parallel to the ground
REMEMBER: Make sure you’re facing forward and keeping a straight back
