Daily Recap December 23rd 2025

Jer rested better way night and I was able to rest as well. Nurse T watched him and I got an IV to help me feel better. The hours of the day seemed to disappear after that. I came home to help get him ready then we took him to the cardiologist where he had a great report. The heart is a muscle so we always make sure it’s healthy as all muscles are affected by his mitochondrial disease. After that we came home swapped nurses and headed to the barbershop. It’s amazing how God provides help in advance. Jer was a big boy as always for his haircut and then we came home. Amber helped us this afternoon and I was able to grocery shop. The stores were so packed I was sure to wear a mask and sanitized well. I made dinner once home and Amber tried to feed Jer. He enjoyed paying with a toy she let him open early and then he helped her change his trach. Jer kept turning around to stare at the tree so we let him lay to watch it too. He did his advent calendar then Amber washed him for bed. Hope everyone had a good day and the hustle and the bustle of the season is safe.


Today we pray that you know God provides before you even know you need it. The provision may not even be in a physical sense but it is needed. May you slow down and enjoy the lights of the season in the midst of the hustle and bustle knowing Jesus is the light. May we never forget that God is good yesterday, today, tomorrow and forevermore.
