This Christmas... As much as I am aware that 2025 is a very pivitol, consequential year of great concern... I am also convinced that this Christmas Holiday season is a very important time of elevated emotional and global circumstance... There are the events: Floods, earthquakes, and violent disturbances worldwide... We need the "true" message of Christmas like never before! As we consider the Birth and Life of Jesus "The Savior", The Prince of Peace during this season... It is imperative to share the values and character traits that Christ embodied! Qualities of compassion, generosity, hope, faith, grace and love need to be a priority to us.
The Christmas message: "Not Jingle Bells, Frosty, and Grandma got runover by a reindeer" .... Christmas is first and foremost the celebration of JESUS.. His birth, His life, His message, His mission, His death...and... His resurrection ! "The Whole Story"... It is also a time of family and friends and giving... It's also a time for a great "reality check", especially if you haven't seen certain people since last year! It can be traumatic, particularly in dysfunctional family situations... "I KNOW THIS WELL"! The marketing and materialistic aspect of the Holiday can be overwhelming.... We put stress on ourselves ! Then we overreact to that pressure... Christmas has been lost to a consumer, indulgent shopping frenzy!

As a Musician: I have been involved with Christmas programs/musicals for well over 40 years... It has always been my favorite time of year for that very reason... "The Music" ! I love the classics Nat King Cole etc... Also all of the contemporary material, especially the instrumental smooth jazz artists such as Mindi Adair and Peter White, and Jonathan Butler etc... "I LOVE IT ALL"! This song was an opportunity to bring all that full-circle with my own song on my channel... "Happy Birthday To Jesus"! Let's celebrate Him by Loving Each Other !
